At least since v8 of this beautiful program, the settings on the 'Save' tab in the configuration are saved to registry or ultraiso.ini, but they never get retrieved when re-running the program. Could this please be fixed?

Yeah, that's what I mean. But when I look in the registry or the ultraiso.ini, the right settings do get saved, the only problem is that they don't get retrieved and applied when re-running UltraIso. So everytime I start UltraIso, I need to re-apply my custom settings in this tab. Quite frustrating...

Please remove ultraiso.ini and try again.
PS: If ultraiso.ini exist, UltraISO will get settings from this file (system registry will be ignored). Please note that UltraISO NEVER change ultraiso.ini, you may export settings via 'Ctrl+Alt+E'.

I know that, but I tried it already. Also when I use the registry for the settings (no ultaiso.ini present) the problem occurs. Even tested it on several systems, both with and without use of ini-file.

My suggestion: Uninstall current version, download latest version UltraISO from http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/download.htm , setup it and try again.

Are you serious? As I said: this problem has been around since v8, on all the systems I've run it under all conditions. Have you even tried to replicate it yourself? It is a bug in the software, not some kind of random occurrence of which I'm the only one to experience it.

This is when there is NO ultraiso.ini:
- Open up the Configuration dialog and go to the 'Save' tab
- For instance, uncheck 'Recompile...' and then uncheck 'Enable Super Restore' (for the example, just changing any setting in this tab will suffice)
- Now close UltraISO and open it up again. You will see that the settings weren't restored properly
Tested extensively on multiple systems with multiple versions.
