Do I need to use DVD-R instead of DVD+R to have the disc finalized and burned in disc at once mode with UltraISO? My DVD burner specs says the DVD+R only supports sequential recording and the DVD-R supports disc at once and incremental recording.

UltraISO always finalize disc's on burn, for both DVD+R and DVD-R.

After burning a DVD with UltraISO I checked it with Nero CD/DVD Speed in the Disk Info tab and noticed that the disc status was open instead of closed. The CD was closed.
