???
I am using UltraISO for some time now & I have solved almost all my cd-image-related troubles!

Yet, I'm obligated to keep installed in my PC and ISOBuster along with UltraISO. This is only for 1 reason: UltraISO cannot recognize sessions in a multisession CD!

I would like to ask this feature to be included in a future release of UltraISO... It would establish UltraISO as the absolut disk-image-management tool!

Hello g@rfield,

Please check 'Show Session Selector Window' option at Configuration dialogue, then a popup widow will appear for multi-session CD images.

Best Regards

I don't think you understood what I'm saying!

When you ALREADY have a CD which is multisession, you cannot access its different sessions with UltraISO (think that you can do with ISOBuster)!

Plus, let me give you an example of this use:
I have written a multisession CD & on the second session I have delete a file that had been written on the first. With ISOBuster I was able to "look" at the first session & restore the wanted file from the CD.

I didn't mean an image that is going to be written on a CD. I am talking about a CD which is ALREADY multisession.
This is what I'm asking as a new feature of UltraISO. This "sessions" visibility might be something that can be added in the "Local Explorer" window.

BY the way xoben, I've already enabled "Show Session Selector Window" checkbox. No difference noticed (ver 7.5.1.965)!

Thanks g@rfield for the explanations.

UltraISO works this way:
1) Open a multi-session CD image
2) UltraISO will ask you for which session to import via 'Session Selector' dialogue
3) Then you can extract files from this session, or add new files and save to another ISO image

BTW, can you provide more detailed information about your multi-session CD image ? such as file extesions and original burning software.

Just when you were approaching the problem, you went away again!

What I'm saying is for the UltraISO to be able to "look" all the sessions of a CD (NOT a CD image) & so that the software to be able to "draw" files from an older session(even if these files have been deleted from a younger session)!

Again, I am NOT refering to the CD image. I talk about the CD by itself (before its image created).

Even without this feature, I have to say that your software is precious, the absolut (I think) idea for CDs management. I just want to have few software installed in my PC. This way, you make me have UltraISO (for images creation & management) & ISOBuster (for multisession & broken CDs management).

Thank you for your time xoben.

Thank you g@rfield. The feature for ripping from a CD/DVD disc will be added at future versions someday.
