When I am burning a CD or DVD, UltraISO tends to select a burn speed that is one half (or less) of the speed for that media. (i.e. burns at 8X on a 16X DVD)
I have set the compression to "No Compression". Is there another setting I am missing on an options tab that would enable faster burn speeds?

By default, the burn speed is detected by your DVD recorder automatically. You may try to change "Write Speed" on the "Burn CD/DVD image" dialogue manually.

Thanks for the lead. I had found the solution on another forum. The drive had shifted into PIO mode. Had to go into the registry and shift back to DMA mode. Additional information at:

Again, thanks for the help.
