It seems two bugs are still in 4.56:
- When I put a bmp background image in 256 color, on most computers, it's allright but on some, it's doesn't work (compaq D530 and dell gx110), and they are uodated in firmware..
- If in the menu, I choose different background color for a selected item, it fizzles on chosing them!
When I put the same background color  for a selected item  (normal backward), it's fine.

This problem relates to the graphics card. EasyBoot need VESA 2, but some computers do not support it.

Can you provide a step by step instruction to repeat this problem?

Step by step instruction for the pb:

Well, it's easy in fact, it's when I put a different background color for a button when it is selected, for example black and that for the others, I have chosen white, then, it's freeze when loaded. But that's not so important as I always choose the same background color for the button now.
Keep on the good work!!

Right! and with this, I've also discovered another one...! In most of the systems, by typing "B:" gives access to Floppy Disk when booted off from Emulated Image BUT, under EZB.DiskEmu, I've noticed that "B:" does not give me access to my original Floppy disk! Not only this, If there is a bootable Floppy Disk, and if I choose to boot to that floppy (BOOT 0)from EZB.DEmu then It writes something to "io.sys" file which then makes floppy completely UNBOOTABLE upon next restart!

I will confirm these bugs again and then post the result here  :(
[EDITED] Yup! The bug exists (atleast in my system)

Regarding the drive B: missing bug: the behaviour of EasyBoot's disk emulator is uncommon, not flawed. That is: indeed, the physical floppy disk is not mapped to drive 0x01 (letter B:), BUT you have a tool (in disk1\ezboot folder) - named: useflp.com - which maps the physical floppy drive to letter A:, so that you can actually access the floppy drive. Note however that, should you use useflp.com, the booted image will become _unavailable_ - that is, until you use the complementary tool (useemu.com) :)

I had actually a hard time because of this - until I read carefully the history.txt file. And, IMHO the names (use***.com) are rather self-explanatory.

Suggestion: because of this behavior, it may be a good idea to use a RAM disk in your floppy image, and copy any tool you may require there. Copying useemu.com to it is also _highly_ recommendable.
