I thought I had run into a "trial" limitation of the software, but it may be that I am making a gross conceptual error.

I have been attempting to make a bootable CD-R with about 100 megabytes of necessary files.  I have performed the following steps using UlraISO 9.3.3.

A boot floppy diskette is placed in the A: drive.

1) Bootable......Make Floppy Image

2) In response to "Make Floppy Image"

   Floppy Drive A:
   Output filename: FIMAGE.IMA

3) File.......New......Bootable CD/DVD Image

4) In response to "Load Boot File"

   Filename: FIMAGE.IMA

5) The image type shown by the MagicISO status bar now says "Bootable".  The required 100 megs of files are then added via the MagicISO editor.

6) File........Save.........BOOTABLE.ISO

The BOOTABLE.ISO file is then burned to a CD-R.  The resulting CD-R DOES boot!  However, none of the files or changes I made in step 5 appear when the CD-R is used to boot.  Only the files on the original boot floppy (from step 2) are present.

I have also tried adding only a few files so that the total space is less than 1.4mb.  However, the result is the same; all edits are lost when the CD-R is used to boot!

Thank You VERY Much!
Robert

Files on CD-ROM cannot be accessed unlesss the proper device driver was loaded and you have changed current drive letter to there under DOS environment.
