I also have Nero 9 installed on my pc, along with UltraISO.

Question:
Do you recommend that I use the Bulit-In - Burn Engine of UltraISO or have UltraISO use Nero API interafce for Burning ?
... What is advantage of one verses the other ?

Sorry, NeroAPI is not available for Nero 9.  If you want to use burning engine of Nero 9, please choose 'Options'->'Configuration' from main menu of UltraISO, switch to 'Burn' page and hit 'Detect' to set Nero as the default burning software.

PS: Built-in burning engine is a light-weight one, it may not work with some brand of CD/DVD writers.

Thanks for the info.

BTW,  The Bulit-In Burn Engine of UltraISO, works perfectly on my DVD Writer (LG/Hitachi -  GSA U10N ).
