Create ISO:

1) Start UltraISO
2) Choose 'Actions'->'Add Directory' to add all files and folders of your USB disk
3) Save as an ISO

A boot image file is needed to make it bootable after that.

So how is it possible to extract the boot image from the Bootable USB you have just copied to an ISO file?
Is there a special way to extract it?
The idea being to:
a) make a backup of  a bootable USB drive
b) being able to clone the bootable USB drive using that ISO
Thanks.

@yollidon
its not possible to extract  the boot image  from the  bootable usb ...
when you  follow the 3 steps from above you will get a data image and it will not be bootable ....
you need  to load the boot file ...
i haved managed this to extract the boot.bif of a windows8 dvd .

I have an ISO and want to make a bootable flash drive instead of a bootable CD or DVD.  I kept reading that UltraISO was a great tool do this.  Now that I have purchased it now it seems that it can't be done.

Bottom line, can I make a bootable flash drive from an ISO using UltraISO?  If so, how?

But the UltraISO 9.53 Changelog contains

+) Supports duplicating bootable USB flash drives (RAW mode)

so it should work without the need for an additional boot image file, shouldn't it?

The question here is how to clone a bootable USB flash drive to a bootable ISO file (and not how to burn a ISO file - that is straightforward), as advertised in the program's release notes, but not explained how this should work anywhere.
