All of a sudden after a year of use now anytime I attempt to BURN a CD/DVD I get the message "You need admin privileges to run this operation" My ID has admin rights (I just checked). I just installed v9.5.0.2800 hoping that would resolve the issue but no luck. I'm sure the fix is something simple but my brain will not enguage and solve the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion - My ID has admin right, thus when installing it would be installed with admin rights. However just to make sure I reinstalled with the option to run as administrator. Still it post the restriction.
For about a year the previous version worked without issue, and then it failed on me first then I upgraded to the latest version.

wel the most users call themself the admin...and think they are the master off windows : never the less thy are mistaken !!! there is a hidden users and his name is the "almity lord " off windows..
1.go to Start and type CMD in the searchbox 2. Right-click CMD.EXE choose Run as Administrator 3 .. Now type net user administrator / active: yes NOTE: If you want to disable the hidden administrator then type no instead of yes! Now you, you just log off, do not a restart just log off You will see the hidden administrator has become visible ,... take notice any change that you do here is just back from here to nullify

I have been having a similar thing happening.
I burn rewritable DVD with a few .avi files on them to play in the front room DVD player.
Anyways, i start a new UDF DVD and put the .avi file in there, and chose burn. If says formatting may take 1-2 minutes, Erase successful. On a few DVD i get a pop up complaining about i do not have the rights to format this disk, but this dose not happen on all the DVD just some.
I have been burning to these same 5 DVD's for a year or so with the same version of Ultra ISO, but only in the last month or so have i started see this popup.
I am running as Admin with UAC disabled.
I will try the latest version also to see if it helps. If not i will reformat the DVD's if i can some how, to see if that fixes them.
Edit, i forgot , it starts burning the disk even when the popup is still open. I just click on Ok or cancel and the popup goes away so i can still burn the DVD. Just not sure why i get the popup saying i dont have the rights to format the rewritable DVD.
