Hi,

I have read two topics which decsribe how to have multiple boot images.

I am thinking so, since I want these to be packed onto 1 cd:

1. MS-DOS 6.22 Boot-disk
2. ntpasswd (to reset win xp password, linux boot)
3. Windows XP Boot-disk
4. ntaccess (win xp password resetter, win xp boot)
(probably I would want to add some more later)

But, I could not find any (single and complete) article how to do all the messes from the very beginning to the very end of task.

So, I would like to recommend those guys from Ezbsys to compile a single article.

And before I can read article, can someone tell me, is my theory how to burn all the images correct or nor, since this is the first day i get started with the program (wont have much time to study every inch of the program).

1. Make a .bin files for every single boot i want.
2. Copy into one directory
3. Add into the Easyboot menu
4. Add run image_name.bin at every menu|command textbox.
5. then, burn all those created file into single cdrom

Does this correct? I really dont have much time to tweak around the program or reading cluttered messages.

So, I am looking forward to have a single article for the instruction, that many others can benefit, without having to go through obstacles to ask there and here many times...

Please condiser.. Thanks!!!

There is no simple, same answer to different systems.

1) For DOS 6.22, you should make a DOS floppy disk first, then use 'Tools'->'Make Floppy Image' to create a dos622.img file and set 'run dos622.img' as command of menu item
2) For Windows XP, copy I386 folder, win51, and win51ip to c:\easyboot\disk1,  and use 'run w2ksect.bin' as menu command
3) For Linux-based system, most of them are distributed as .ISO image. Extract all files and folders to c:\easyboot\disk1 and save boot image file (xxx.BIF) to c:\easyboot\disk1\ezboot, then use 'run xxx.bif' to load.

Hi,

I have somehow bump to a site : Bootable CD Wizard
(http://bootcd.narod.ru/)

It provides excellent (as I can gain many things)
at their website, http://bootcd.narod.ru/index_e.htm

The purpose of this program is to make a menu for
multiple boot CD.

But, I wonder, why such a better program (EasyBoot)
does not have the kind? I believe such a thing would
be much appreciated by the many users out there.

I am wonderin too, since nobody havent answered me,
does EasyBoot support for Linux? I'm a little afraid
to do a little test. I'm not good enough in computing,
just the curiosity that led me here.

Aha, I would like to ask anyone who knows...

I have some application whereby I decided to put into
folder, namely DOSTOOLS. What I really want to do is,
no matter what OS has been booted (be it MS-DOS, Win 98, XP)
we can switch into the CD drive letter and open
the DOSTOOLS folder and run any of the program.

I wonder whether this could work or not. Since from
the many examples, thread I read, only discussing
about .IMA and .ISO files.

Please let me know....

hi,

Do I have to extract all the files in .BIN for each linux files?
Some of the .BIN file cannot be read though.

From my understanding, to what you are trying to say is, file cannot be in .ISO, .IMA, .BIN format, but must be extracted to its original form to c:\easyboot\disk1\
correct?

this also mean, if i want to make a folder (or few folders) which can be access regardless to which boot-disk, then I may put into the same folder?

say, i want to make volkov commander accessible to any boot system, i just put to c:\easyboot\disk1\volkov  ???

Please get your Linux-application as a whole ISO, use UltraISO to extract all files and folders to c:\easyboot\disk1 and save boot image file (xxx.BIF) to c:\easyboot\disk1\ezboot, then use 'run xxx.bif' to load.

.ISO is not OK. Mostly .IMA and .BIN can be used by 'run' command.

That's right.

u said i can "run" ima and bin,
it means for those system utilities that cannot be extracted, i can forced it using the 'run' command.
could i possibly do that?

since i can not only linux, but some commercials data.bin for disk utility as well.

Hi,

I followed what you say,
and in turn I had converted all the ISO's into BIN's.
These includes:
1. Offline NT Password Editor (ntpasswd)
2. Passware Windows Account Reset (www.lostpassword.com)
3. NTAccess
4. Large Drive Tools

In the package I also included MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 98 SE.

I have burn those two images onto a CD-R/W as I do not want to spoil too many CDs, in case it is not working. (And it does not!)

MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 98 SE, both performs well during the startup.

Unluckily, for those 4 utilies seems refusing to work.

Each time I want any of these 4 item to startup, this-look-the-same error persist:

INT13/42h Read error (AX=80D7, DL=9F) Block=000020D7

I had followed exactly as the installed example, and i had invoking 'run image_name.bin'

It is because the images are originally ISO files?

Another sad thing is, the CD-R/W had been crapped (I burnt using Nero) and can no longer usable. Cant figure out, either the image fault or the burner fault.

Please assist something. Thanks!!!

as you see, I had asked about making a few folders to be invisible regardless which images is being boot.

you say, i can just copy the folders in the same folder for the ezboot project, this did not work the same. I see no folders.

Does it to
c:\easyboot\disk1
or
c:\easyboot\disk\easyboot

please explain.... :D

#1. Offline NT Password Editor
  a) download bd040818.zip (~1.1MB) - Bootdisk image, date 040818
  b) Extract bd040818.bin to c:\easyboot\disk1\ezboot
  c) use 'run bd040818.bin' to load
#2. Passware Windows Account Reset
  a) Create a bootable floppy by this program first
  b) Use 'Tools'->'Make Floppy Image' of EasyBoot to get a xxx.img file
  c) Use 'run xxx.img' to load
#3. NTAccess
This is a Windows setup loader based program, you cannot run it by EasyBoot.
#4. Large Drive Tools
Create a Large Drive Tools disk first, and do the same thing as #1.
