I just started using UltraISO and I really was able to get to and modify a DOS based bootable CD. I gather that I can make additions to the files on the boot sectors, change the autoexec.bat, etc., and then recreate a bootable image and burn a new CD with my stuff on it.
When I look at a WinXP Pro SP2 boot image, I can extract the boot image to a .bif file, but I can't drill into it to see what's there or make appropriate changes. I would like to create bootable images that we can use for creating new developer workstations with all the software preloaded. Where is a good place to go to get that kind of information?

There are mainly two kinds of boot image file(BIF): Floppy emulation and non-emulation. You can open and modify floppy emulation BIF with UltraISO, and UltraEdit can open non-emulation BIF.
