Open ISO file, select all files and folders, drag them somewhere. UISO is extracting, but not all files!

Talking specifically about Windows XP.ISO.
UISO managed to extract DOCS and i386 folders. Then, in the next go, everything else. Still, while slipstreaming service pack, it appears that some files missing (error)!

Did the same with WinRar, and everything OK.

It's 9.1.2.2465

Hello irso, it is recommanded to drag & drop to built-in local browser (lower panel) or press F4 to extract large amount of files.

Ok thanks.
Would be nicer though, if drag an drop worked properly, or didn't work at all.

I've found that if the drive holding your %TEMP% variable is full, UISO creates 0 length files. Misleading but then it's still buggy... ex: You can't change the icons (in FileTypes/Associations) once it's installed... It doesn't honor starting in full screen (maximized) as set in a Windows shortcut or even a 3rd party launcher.

Uninstall / Groom Registry / Reinstall has varied results.

Try this: Set ISO extension to some favorite application & icon. Install UISO. It steals all the extensions commonly associated with image files and icons ala REAL Media. It's a conspiracy. Try changing settings in UISO and see if they stick? Nope. Change icons in explorer to match what you like; same thing... Once UISO is installed it takes over.

It could be some issue on my computer but I'm not about to argue what I experienced with some bonehead tech response telling me to "uninstall/reinstall and toast my bread darker and all will be fine."

It's still buggy and I'm not buying this until you guys can produce a finished product.

Alcohol is your competition and you are starting to beat them.

Hello NetwareAdmin, we will check the issues you suggested and try to improve that in future versions.

Please uncheck 'Associate UltraISO with the .iso file extension' on installation to avoid this kind of problem.
