Hi, just tried to integrate Hiren 14.0 but none of the possible methods work.
I copy all of the cd in Disk 1
Solution 1: I try to use run isolinux from the HBCD-Dir results in a checksum error.
Solution 2: I extract the bootsector of the cd and put it in EZBoot dir. When running the .bif with bootinfotable, the resulting cd starts reading, but never stops, the drivelight stays on forever.
Solution 3: When running the bootsector from Solution 2 without bootinfotable comes the funniest part: When mounting the resulting iso in vmware and booting a virtual machine from it, Hirens CD boots properly. When burning it to a DVD and booting a real PC, trying to call Hirens CD results in a "read error" . It cannot be a drive or medium-related problem, cause I treid different media and did it on several PC.
Something must have changed on Hirens CD. Has anyone already figured out, how to implement it? The last version worked without any prob for me.
Thanks in advance

@wrzlgrmpft
As far as I can notice, this is your first post on forum @wrzlgrmpft - So I say welcome

I have downloaded Hiren 14.0 (Hiren is getting pretty big this days )
Anyway… I used my script “easyboot-iso.script” and pushed on separate button “Intergrate Hirens-BOOT-CD” and followed instructions given by script. Tested in “Virtual PC” and it worked fine. Also tested from USB stick (used easyboot-grub-iso.script to transfer build to USB stick) and tested “Mini XP” “Linux parted magic” and some of the DOS-tools, and everything worked alright for me.
Note: problem with Hiren can be related to “hardware-problems” and may not be related to Easyboot or my scripts. If I’m able to launch and run Hiren from EasyBoot launched from USB device, there shouldn’t be any problem run from CD/DVD-unit as well

Thanks for your answer. But I do not want to use any script, cause my Easy-Boot AIO-CD is already several years old and for several reasons I do not want to change a thing at it. I only want to replace the last Hiren with the latest. So want to copy the Files from the CD somewhere (Disk 1) and eventually the boot-sector somewhere and if necessary change the commandline for the menu entry. That always worked with hiren. But it doesn't now. The fact is, that the iso worked on a vm-machine, but the burned DVD didn't (at the same virtual machine and on some PC). And there wasn't a prob with any of the apps on Hiren, it didn't even show the menu.

Hmmm.. I think you misunderstanding the way my scripts work 1. Script doesn’t change anything on what you have in folder disk1. 2. script doesn’t change your AIO-build in any way 3. You must however check “Joliet” as linux is embedded in Hiren build 4. And you must check “Allow lower case” as grub is used in Hiren
So basically…. If you are so afraid of my using my scripts  I can give you an alternative method Do it this way: 1. Extract folder HBCD to folder disk1 as usual (make sure name to folder HBCD is uppercased (BIG LETTERS) 2. Create menu in Easyboot as usual and use menu command:  bcdw /hbcd/grldr 3. Check “Joliet” and check “Allow lower case” when creating ISO in EasyBoot. That’s it
Note: this responds to Hiren v 14.0 and later

Thanks very much. Will try tomorrow morning. The "allow lowercase" and "joliet" is new and also the menu-command is different. HBCD is already there. Pls don't be offended, but I like to do things "manual" cause then I better understand what's going on. Again thanks for your effort.

Well yes and no Anyway, as we must use “Allow lower case” your AIO-build might not work properly. If your AIO-build has NT5-system involved (typically WinXP, server-2003 etcetera) then you must run “uppercase” to files and folder names in those folders (including both “BOOT”-folders as “Setup”-folders) Otherwise when checking “Allow lower case” you get ntldr not found or similar when launching setup of NT5-systems
You can use my script “easyboot-uppercase” to run uppercase to all files and folder names. Then your AIO-build works regardless you check “Allow lower case” or not You can point to folder disk1 and run uppercase to everything as this doesn’t affect EasyBoot in any way
Attention! If run uppercase, make sure you do not have folder HBCD in folder disk1 as folder HBCD should not be uppercased (temporary remove folder HBCD while run uppercase and put folder back before creating ISO).
I know it looks a little bit complicated but solution above do work. Checking “Joliet” does not affect anything in your AIO-build, but “Allow lower case” is a problem maker, but can be solved with mentioned solution (run uppercase).
However, you can just as well use my script “easyboot-iso” with its built-in button to integrating Hiren. Check “Run uppercase to files and folders” while pushing "Integrate Hiren BOOT-CD" Because when script is run its process and discover folder HBCD, it moves folder HBCD while run “Uppercase” and then move it back to folder disk1. If I may say for my self - without boasting – all my scripts have its cleverness. My scripts is not designed in a haphazard way – checkboxes in scripts has a meaning

Thank you very much. It really didn't work without your "Uppercase"-Script. As much as I hate to copy an exe from unknown origin into my root directory and execute it with minimal UAC-Settings, it worked! Now it all runs as expected.
Remains still the question, why one of my methods worked from the mounted ISO, but not from the resulting CD.
Thanks again, your help is appreciated.

Yes I know - and as you stated - UAC must be set to lowest level while script is doing "its things"
Quote: ”Remains still the question, why one of my methods worked from the mounted ISO, but not from the resulting CD” He, he seems to be an issue for the “academic world” I guess we never find that out
Anyway – my argument to solve your request worked in the end – including how to launch Hiren 14.0 Keep it up @wrzlgrmpft

I have integrate Hiren Boot Disk 14 in my Multiboot DVD.
Follow these steps.
* Go to HBCD folder and Copy "isolinux.bin" & "isolinux.cfg" files to EZBOOT folder * Go to HBCD\Dos and Copy Dos.gz to same folder HBCD\Dos boot.gz * Copy both Dos.gz & boot.gz to EZBOOT folder. * Extract Dos.gz to EZBOOT\Dos.img * Extract boot.gz to EZBOOT\boot (rename file "Dos.img" to "boot" with no extention)
Open Easyboot and use this as Menu command.
bootinfotable;run isolinux.bin

Well, you can still use the old method that i used back on Hiren's 10 with the new Hiren's 14
It was just the simple launch
bootinfotable;run /hbcd/isolinux.bin
