Tested "Hiren's.BootCD.8.6.iso" directly with VMWare, it reports the same error message.
So, it may be a normal message if no certain device driver is available for your hardware.

The folder Hiren's boot, name BootCD must be in the root directory.

what do you mean by root directory. can you specify please.
i put the folder BootCD in "c:\EasyBoot\disk1"
this is the place where all my existing files are there.
so what do i do now. i tested by using VMWare 6. it still says "Boot CD files were not found"

V 8.8 will work if you copy the BOOTCD folder to disk1 (you can use V8.8 Bif file) **Don't use ISO, it will not work**

I have the same problem. How to get bif file? CD works, when you burn hiren's ISO image to CD directly on CD without easyboot.
Bye, Allesandro.
