I have made an All-In-One DVD with XP/2003/WinPE/ERD ect... with EasyBoot 5.06
My problem is that I mount my winxp ISO to a drive letter and drag all the contents from the \I386 folder WINXPSP2 FULL (Not Upgrade) into the \IWXP on my DVD compliation. After I do that and boot my DVD ISO in VMware 4.5.2 he XP text mode portion of the setup starts then it says it cant find any microsoft OSs to upgrade and tells me to put in a WinXP/2000/9x CD.
If I take the source XPSP2 ISO and boot to that in VMWare everthing is fine.
This is not an upgrade. Iv never even had an upgrade.
I checked the setupp.ini file and it has not been modified at all. Not sure what is going on. I have the same issue with 2003 as well.
\I386=winpe \IWXP=I386 dir for XP install \I2K3=I386 dir for 2003 install \XPROOT=Entire folder structure from XP Disk \2K3ROOT=Entire folder structure from 2003 Disk
why is this happening? I just downloaded and installed the new build of UltraISO but no luck.
Thanks for any help.

I don't think this has to do with UltraISO or EasyBoot.
First, you'll need to check that you have the signature files present at the root of your CD and at the root of the operating system. - WIN51, WIN51IP, WIN51IP.SP2 for Windows XP SP2
Second, how do you get your boot folder? I suggest you follow the method described here to obtain it: http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/
Third, What kind of Microsoft CD are you using as a source? OEM, VLK, Retail BOX, Manufacturer recover CD, etc...
With this information, we should be able to solve your problem
EDIT: You don't mention if you modified your w2ksect.bin and setupldr.bin files...

-------------- Get a Quad NIC for your Server (perfect for VMware)
HowTo: VMware Server 1.0.1 on Ubuntu Server 6.10

The reason I think it is somthing that UltraISO os doing to it is becuase if I take the WinXP SP2 VLK ISO mount as drive letter and drag all files to the AIO and save the new ISO thats where the problem starts.I thought that maybe it was a FS maybe Juliet or ISO 9660 thing. And yes all the CD fiels are in the root of the CD and in XPROOT (WIN51, WIN51IP, WIN51IP.SP2 )
Isnt it the setupp.ini that determins if the install is an upgrade or not? I compared the 2 (from xpsp2 source and AIO and they are the same)
Thanks again for the help.

Hello MrChris,
Some files may be hacked when making an all-in-one bootable DVD, such as setupldr.bin and txtsetup.sif, as well as the corresponding boot file (w2ksect.bin). Please load the proper boot file and try it out.
