I have always used Nero and UltraISO with iso's, bin/cue etc. have not tried to burn a .img file before. I tried searching here and didn't find info specific to .img files except that they may be CloneCD files. Any help or info appreciated.

CloneCD and Alcohol 120% are recommanded to burn .CCD/.IMG/.SUB image. You can also convert it to ISO or BIN/CUE format, then burn it by UltraISO or Nero.

Many Thanks

You can convert it to .ISO, .BIN/.CUE or .NRG format. .NRG is recommanded.

If it's a DVD-ROM / DVD-Video image with .img extension, it's usually only a .iso with a "wrong" extension.
Try to rename to .iso and open with UltraISO.

I have the same problem. I'd like to open a Mac .img file or find some software to convert it to a .iso file. UltraISo doesn't seem to be able to open it, though. My goal is to make a hybrid CD, but I can't quite seem to get to the MAC files. Once I can convert the .img to .iso, I can open it and UltraISO should read it as an HFS disk. I'm planning to then convert it to a hybrid and copy my windows files on it. Any insight on this process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
