I'm using UltraISO Version 7.0, Windows 2000.

I've downloaded several ISO Image files.  I open the UltraISO program and when I tried to open the ISO image file I get the error "ISO 9660 Volume Not found".  What does this mean and is this a correctable error.

When I have downloaded other different ISO Image files I keep getting the same error.

Can someone help me.

Thanks.

This message comes out when your image does not include an ISO 9660 volume.

Please send fisrt 1MB data of your ISO image to support@ezbsystems.com, we will check it in detail.

PS: A small tool from http://www.ezbsys.com/download/filecut.exe can help you to cut the large image file.

Hi there,
Even I am having the same problem. I will explain in detail.
I bought a video cd, (I have win98, 2K, XP & Redhat 9).
When i try to open it in win98 it shows me that it is a audio cd containing 2 tracks, but the tracks doesnot plays (in any player) and size of each .cda file is 44k.
When i try to open it in win2k it shows me message as Incorrect function
When i try to open it in winXP it shows me message as Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatiable with windows
Even linux cannot open the CD.
I used Nero info tool, Nero 6, CloneCD v4.3.2.2 & many other softwares they show me the same things.
This the report of clone cd :-:-:-
Info on inserted Disc:
Number of sessions: 1
Size used on Disc: 747678 kBytes

Number of Tracks: 2
Track 1: Data Mode 2, Size: 3100 kBytes
Track 2: Data Mode 2, Size: 744577 kBytes
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I used nero to save the tracks in the .nrg format as well as CloneCD to save the image of cd in .img format
but the files made cannot be opened in UltraISO 6/7. it shows a message like "ISO 9660 volume not found"

Thanks Rahul for your detailed information and your sample image file.

I just checked your sample image, it was created by Roxio, then protected by some tools. Now it seems corrupted,  so UltraISO cannot open it.

Yes.

You can try emulate your ISO image by SoftDisc (http://www.ezbsystems.com/softdisc), and see if windows can read it.

Wow man!!!!
I don't know that how u came to know that the cd included Roxio video player...... amazing.
=====================================================
BTW I think that I should even add this ......
Actually it was a VCD. That movie had 2 parts ie 2 discs.
The 1st cd opened easily but it included a Roxio video player's .exe file which was affested by W32/Parite.B (My Protector Plus antivirus said so.) but i was able to copy the Avseq01.dat file
And ths 2nd cd's problem u know  :). Might be the CD was unreadable bcoz of virus.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Well, I finally was able to extract the video file from 2nd cd using IsoBuster.
I know that this post is on ur site but mentioning some other softwares name will be helpful for some one else.
