Hi!

I try to modify the content of a bootable iso file (CD). The iso contains one volume (ISO & Rock Ridge), but as far as I can see only one volume (I can see under Windows both the Windows and the Linux files). The problem is, when I open the ISO and re-save it (using a different name), it isn't bootable anymore.

Using a Sector view, I saw that the iso was created using this flags:

MKI Fri Nov 26 16:00:47 2004.
mkisofs 2.0 -v –log -file ./mkiso.log -b bm_mbr
-no-emul-boot -eltorito-alt-boot -b bm.bin -no-emul-boot
-no-boot -eltorito-alt-boot -b bm_stat -no-emul-boot -no-boot
-eltorito-alt -boot -b bm_hide -no-emul-boot -no-boot
-V PARAGON -A Hani --copyright=LICENSE -l -r -o ./bootcdpre.iso

Is there a way to modify the content (I must add some Windows files) of the iso, without destroying its capability to boot with linux?

Thank you for your efforts!

You can extract all files to a temp folder by UltraISO, copy your windows file there, then use mkisofs to recompile a new ISO image.
