I also am running Vista Black,(Ultimate) ver.2. I tried to install Daemon tools, and got the B.S.O.D., and set my computer back to an earlier date. Never saw that before. It also took me several boots to be able to get my computer up just to remove Daemon.

BSODs are usually caused by RAMs. Have you tried upgrading this yet?

Seems quite a few people are having problems with Vista and Daemon Tools.

My situation is this: my brother has installed an unknown version number of Daemon Tools on his laptop (Samsung R60 (Intel Core Duo T2450 - 2GHz, 1GB RAM), Windows Vista), and now every time Vista boots, but after a few seconds, it brings up a message saying "This program is blocked due to compatibility issues". áI hit cancel, and within seconds it brings up a blue screen, dumps the physical memory and resets itself.

I can't actually do anything within the time it takes to boot up to the error message, and haven't got a copy of Vista (none supplied with the laptop) or a backup disc.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can get the software off and restore normal running to Vista? áI have managed to delete the reference to the program in the registry, but can't delete the folder on the C: drive as I don't have permission, apparently.

I think so much people have this problem.
